At January 23th 2019, several stakeholders of the project CuARdian Angel (KBO-PCOB, the Ministry of Flanders, CBR, ROV NH, SWOV, Veilig Verkeer Nederland, Allianz Benelux and driving school Jesco) came together in Delft (the Netherlands) for a first workshop. The goal of the workshop was to engage in a conversation about the subject, to share experiences and to discover how each stakeholder can contribute to the project.
During the workshop findings from the literature study and the first results from the questionnaire were presented and discussed with the group. In addition, the stakeholders generated ideas about what they can possibly do with their own organisation to support older drivers to drive safely.
It was great to share thoughts with the stakeholders. It gave the project team several new insights and input for the next steps. The project team is now preparing the next steps: conducting interviews with the target group and a 2 day creative session with the entire project team in Salzburg.
